OTTAWA – The union representing nearly 51,000 Canada Post employees issued a 72-hour notice of job action Thursday, accusing the Crown corporation of forcing a labour dispute.
But it was not immediately clear whether the action would result in a disruption of mail and parcel deliveries, something that – if it does happen – could come as early as next week.
Most of our shipping is done via Canada Post, but in the event of a strike, we’ll do our best to get your order out to you as quickly and inexpensively as possible.
